KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER & ANTI MONEY LAUNDERING POLICY

 

National Housing Bank has  advised H.F.C’s. to follow  a ‘KYC Guidelines ‘ wherein certain personal information of regarding the borrower or customer is obtained. The main objectives of doing do is to enable the company ta have positive identification of its customers. This is also in the interest of the customer to safe guard their hard earned money.

 

The KYC guidelines of N.H.B mandate financial institute to collect 3 proofs  from their customers. They are:

  • Photographs
  • Proof of Identity
  • Proof of Address

Accordingly SWAGAT has framed its KYC procedure. Our KYC procedures specifies certain commonly available documents as a proof of personal identification and address proof.
